At Davidsons Homes, building places where people can live well has always been central to how we think about new communities. As expectations around health, wellbeing and community infrastructure continue to evolve, we believe housebuilders have an important role to play in exploring how neighbourhoods can better support the lives of the people who live there.
At Broadnook Garden Village, we are piloting an innovative initiative in partnership with Lyons Global. The project introduces Leo Broadnook, a version of the LEO360® medical AI platform, to explore how wellbeing support and healthcare access might be integrated into a residential environment.
This is a learning project. It allows us to test, in a real community, how emerging technologies and wellbeing services might complement existing healthcare systems and contribute to stronger, more resilient neighbourhoods.
Below, members of the Davidsons Homes leadership team explain why the company chose to support this pilot and how it reflects the values that shape every Davidsons development.
“At Davidsons Homes, we believe in creating communities, not just homes. That’s why we’re proud to be piloting something new at Broadnook Garden Village.”
“Leo Broadnook is the name given to a LEO360® medical AI platform, created by Lyons Global® and specially built for Broadnook. Versions of this technology have already been used in hospitals and clinics around the world. What makes this different is the setting — we’re exploring how healthcare access and wellbeing could be integrated into a residential community, right where people live.”
“As housebuilders, we’re increasingly expected to think beyond the home itself. This pilot allows us to test — in a real development — whether wellbeing infrastructure can add genuine long-term value to a community. It’s about learning what works, what doesn’t, and how we might design better places in the future.”
“This is not about replacing GPs or NHS services. Doctors remain central to all medical decisions.
“This pilot reflects our long-term thinking and our commitment to helping communities thrive. As staff, your role is simply to explain it clearly, calmly, and consistently.”
James Wilson
Group Managing Director
“At Davidsons Homes, people are at the heart of everything we do.
“Whether someone is building our homes, working in our offices, or supporting our sites day to day, we believe that looking after our people is just as important as delivering high-quality developments.
“That’s why we were keen to explore how Leo Broadnook and the LEO360® technology could support the health and wellbeing of our employees and contractors — on a voluntary basis. This initiative is about offering reassurance, early insight, and easy access to wellbeing support in a way that feels approachable and respectful.
“For us, this isn’t about technology for technology’s sake. It’s about creating an environment where people feel valued, cared for, and supported — both professionally and personally.
“Being part of this pilot reflects who we are as a business: nurturing, responsible, and genuinely committed to the wellbeing of everyone who plays a role in the Davidsons community.”
Fran Beet
Group HR Director
“At Davidsons Homes, every development is about much more than the homes themselves — it’s about the community that grows around them.
“When people choose a Davidsons home, they’re choosing quality of build, thoughtful design, and a place that feels right from the moment they arrive. We put real care into how our developments look and feel, making sure they complement their surroundings and support everyday life.
“Broadnook Garden Village is a perfect example of that approach. It’s been designed with long-term value in mind — from green spaces and layout, to the sense of connection it creates between neighbours.
“Introducing Leo Broadnook as part of this pioneering project builds on that vision. It reflects our commitment to leading the way, not just in how homes are built, but in how communities are supported.
“For us, it’s about creating places people are proud to call home — today and for years to come.”
Stephanie King
Sales Director
“At Davidsons Homes, everything we do starts with one simple question — how will this improve life for the people who live here?
“Broadnook Garden Village has been carefully designed as more than a housing development. It’s a long-term community, where wellbeing, sustainability, and quality of life are built in from the start.
“This pilot with Lyons Global and the LEO360® technology allows us to explore something genuinely new. It’s about understanding how access to healthcare and wellbeing support might work within a residential setting — in a way that’s practical, responsible, and centred on residents.
“From an operational perspective, this project helps us learn. It allows us to test how innovative services can be delivered safely, how they integrate with a live development, and how they add real value to a community.
“We’re proud to be exploring this at Broadnook, and we believe the insights gained here could help shape how future communities are planned and delivered.”
Jason Glover
Operations Director
Leo Broadnook is a pilot project — one designed to explore possibilities, learn from experience, and understand how new ideas might contribute to the future of community design.
For Davidsons Homes, the goal is simple: to continue creating places where people feel supported, connected and proud to live.
By working with partners like Lyons Global and testing thoughtful innovations within real developments such as Broadnook Garden Village, we hope to gain insights that will help shape the communities of tomorrow.
As with every Davidsons development, the focus remains on people — their wellbeing, their environment, and the long-term quality of the places they call home.
