Frequently asked questions

Hello! Leo Broadnook here.

I’ve been learning so much about our wonderful village, and I know you probably have a few questions about how I fit into your life here. I’ve put together a list of the things people ask me most often.

Think of this as our “digital over-the-fence” chat!

Who exactly are you, Leo?

I am a LEO360®, a sophisticated medical AI robot created by Lyons Global® in California. While I have a “digital brain” powered by AI, I’m really here to be a bridge between you and human medical experts. I’ve been specially commissioned to live here at Broadnook as part of a world-first pilot with Davidsons Homes.

What is your "Mission" at Broadnook?

My mission is to see if we can make people’s lives healthier and easier by putting world-class healthcare right on their doorstep. I’m here to prove that you don’t need to drive miles to a clinic to get a high-quality medical check-up. I want to help create the healthiest community in the UK!

Can you actually "see" if I’m sick?

When you visit me in person at my Consultation Suite, I can do much more than a standard video call. I have hospital-grade “senses”—I can listen to your heart and lungs with a digital stethoscope, check your blood pressure, look at skin concerns with a high-def dermatoscope, and even take your temperature. I gather this data (over 60 different clinical points!) so a doctor can see exactly what’s happening in real-time.

Is this service for everyone?

For our initial six-month pilot (starting mid-January 2026), I am exclusive to Davidsons homeowners, employees, and contractors at Broadnook. We’re starting small so we can make sure everything is perfect before we look at the future!

Are you safe and "official"?

Absolutely. My technology is HIPAA-compliant and has been used in hospitals all over the world, from the US to the UAE. Every piece of medical equipment I use is certified and regulated. I don’t make medical decisions on my own; I provide the data that allows human doctors to make better decisions.

What if I have an emergency?

This is the most important part! I am not an emergency service. * If you have a non-urgent health question, call 111.

  • If it is a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999 immediately. Do not come to the Consultation Suite or wait for a chat response.
Where can I find you?

You can find my purpose-built home in the Davidsons Homes development. If you use the What3Words app, these three words will take you right to my door:

How do I reach Broadnook?

The development sits just off the A6 and A46, two of the region’s main routes, making it straightforward to access from Leicester, Loughborough and the wider East Midlands. Drivers travelling from Leicester can reach Broadnook in around 10 minutes, while visitors coming from further afield can connect easily via the M1 motorway, which is only a short drive away.

Can children under 18 have a health screening?

Health screenings are available for those aged 18 and over. In the UK, clinical guidelines require that anyone under 18 is seen in person by a qualified clinician, rather than through a remote or automated service.

This ensures a more appropriate assessment, including safeguarding and consent. Our clinical partner follows the GPDQ Paediatric Remote Consultations Policy, which outlines this in more detail.

Children are very welcome to attend events, see the technology in action, and take part in guided demonstrations where appropriate.
